Jennifer is originally from Iowa where she graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jewelry & Metal Arts. During this time, she started making and selling her jewelry independently. Jennifer strives for her designs to be functional pieces of artwork, as unique as the person who wears it. Her predominantly organic style mimics nature in fluidity, balance, and movement. Jennifer attributes much of her creativity in design and precision in technical skill to studying under two well-respected artists in metal working: Chunghi Choo & Kee-Ho Yuen. Her jewelry and designs are also influenced by the work of Friedrich Becker and Margaret Bourke-White.
Also a trained vocalist, pianist, and dancer, Jennifer spends much of her free time pursuing roles in musical theatre. With what is left of her free time, she enjoys playing her guitar and singing at the farmer’s market, painting, traveling, & keeping up with her family back in Iowa.
