Marina Chkheidze was born in Republic of Georgia and spent her fledging years at the Academy of Arts in Tbilisi before arriving to United States in 1992.
Marina was raised in a traditional Georgian-Russian aristocratic family that influenced and stimulated her to dedicate her life to arts. During her life in Georgia, Marina received degrees in both architecture and fine arts, and implemented both fields in her professional life.

In 1985 Marina’s art development project “Art School” took the First Prize at the international contest of architecture and art projects, in Varna, Bulgaria.

To fulfill her inspiration Marina traveled intensively through out Europe.
Marina’s art has gone through many transformations from classic tradition to stirred by schools of European modern art. Her artworks were seen and admired by many during her exhibitions in Moscow, Bratislava, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Honolulu.

After she immigrated to the USA, Marina worked 12 years for a software company where she designed user interfaces, websites, logos, marketing materials, and creating and web site graphics.
Today Marina works as graphic and web designer at PearlParadise.com, and she is responsible for maintaining and updating the Web site.

"I love working behind the scenes to power a web site... cutting it up and building the tables is a custom puzzle to me, and coding the scripting backend for certain projects is another kind of challenge."
