These specially-selected akoya pearls were examined by the Gemological Institute of America and compared against master grading sets in their New York laboratory, where they received the coveted GIA hanadama classification.
As described in GIA report 1236133762, the pearls measure 8.54-8.98 mm in size. They are described as having pink overtones. The surface quality is certified as clean and both the matching and luster are excellent.
Established in 1931, GIA is the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones, and pearls.
These pearls exhibit a beautiful, warm pink tone. We decided to add a few diamond rondelles and a diamomd clasp to this strand before submitting it to GIA.
