A full year in the making ... Pearls as One
Over the past year I've been working on a project for the Cultured Pearl Association of America. It's related to something I've been passionate about for nearly two decades, and I proposed it to the organization in September of last year.
With the help of avid pearl researcher Caitlin Williams from Pearl-Guide.com, we've created something designed to educate anyone and everyone who would like to learn more about pearls.
Today we launched www.PearlsAsOne.org, with the support of the CPAA (I am now the treasurer and chairman of the marketing committee), Jewelmer, Paspaley, Atlas, J. Hunter Pearls Fiji and the Hong Kong Pearl Association. It's the first of its kind; an online pearl school, offering a CPAA Certified Pearl Specialist certification course.
I would like to sponsor all our friends who follow this blog. Anyone who would like to become a certified pearl specialist (yes, you'll actually receive a certificate) can join Pearls As One (for FREE) using the coupon code PEARL10951PARADISE.
Hi Christine,
I checked on this for you and when you signed up, you didn’t input the code in the “Redeem this coupon” box and instead input your credit card number. You don’t need to input a credit card number if you use the coupon. It should have been refunded to you yesterday. If that boots you out of the course, just sign up again, but don’t put a CC number in, just use PEARL10951PARADISE on the payment page.
I hope that helps!
Hello Jeremy,
I signed up for the course this morning using the coupon code that you provided. I’m really enjoying the course and have already completed 20%. I am confused at the free offer using the coupon though. I have already been charged 599.00 on my card even though it appeared on the sign up that they honored the coupon. Can you explain? I would love to continue the course. Thanks for your help.
So it is. I will frame it and hang it above my pearl collection of jewels.
Thanks again for a great resource.
Congratulations!
The email address is on the same page as the final exam. I don’t want to post it here, but you can log back in and check that page.
Very enjoyable and informative, – I saw your free offer of a trail a while and ago and just completed the course this evening. Thanks!
I know I saw somewhere that an email to someone was required for the certificate – darn if I can find where I read that and there is no contact address/link on the site – who do I contact?
