VIP: Very Important Pearls - something new and something fun!

2018 has been a big year for us. For a long time, we’ve wanted to change out our boxes, upgrade our packages, and really elevate the entire pearl experience. After making excuses for why it was never the right time, we finally bit the bullet and said let’s just go for it.

Now don’t get me wrong, we were very excited… but it also took a LOT of trial and error, time, and energy. We wanted this to be perfect. We wanted the material to look good, feel good, but also be versatile.

We wanted the boxes to be hefty but ergonomic. Something you could proudly present, but also use after opening it. Something that would protect the pearls during transit, but also be convenient to carry around.

Every single element of the design had an entire process to it. In fact, you won’t believe how many different shades of gray there are….. We took some photos of the process along the way, and wanted to share the journey with you.

At the end of it, we can proudly share the finished product with you and we can’t wait for you to see the result of all our hard work. Take a look below.

In celebration of this huge milestone for Pearl Paradise, we’ve decided to do something else never before done. We opened up the vault….

Over the years, we’ve collected countless special pearls, one-of-a-kind designs, and unique collector’s pieces from various pearl farmers and jewelers that we’ve met on our travels. We never knew what to do with them. But we could never pass them up.

It takes a special person, or group of people, to really appreciate the value and rarity of some of these pearls. So much so that we always felt it would be an injustice to list them on our site as any regular old piece. This is why we’ve kept them hidden away from the public, stashed away.

And for our long time friends and customers, they maybe come out once a year during our annual Ruckus. This year, we are going to change all of that. In celebration of the rebrand and soft launch of the company image, we decided it is far too selfish to keep some of these items locked away.

This holiday season, we’ve opened up an invite-only private pearl vault for our VIPs. This is not listed on our public website, and it has been very deliberately set up this way. Why? Many of the items you’ll find are extremely special, and we want the audience to be able to appreciate them the same way we would.

More than that, most of the pieces are being sold a little above our own cost. It isn’t about sales or about the Pearl Paradise business. This is my gift to you, to say thank you and to give back to the community that has supported myself, Hisano, Pearl Paradise, and even Little H so much over the years.

We’re hoping that our special collection can go into the hands of a pearl lover that can appreciate the pearls for how unique and special they are. There’s sentimental value in where all these pearls come from and we’ve taken time to set them aside.
