Distributing and receiving Tahitian pearls is not what it used to be, but we have a dedication to our customers, our pearl farm friends, and to ourselves to keep moving forward. As time went on, we realized we need to adapt to this new normal, and we need to adapt now. We are moving forward, planning for what is ahead, and adjusting to the world around us. So with a devoted team, and support from our community, we got to work.
Our friends in Tahiti harvested their lively Tahitian pearls to an aching society. With international trade shows cancelled until 2021, they had no one to sell their pearls to. Meanwhile overseas in Los Angeles, acquiring a new shipment of Tahitian pearls was exactly what we needed. With a bond of over 15 years of trust and growth, our friends sold us their entire vault of pearls.
Mother nature had special intentions when nurturing these Tahitian pearls. The vivid colors, the unique shapes, the luster... we were overwhelmed with gratitude and could not wait to share them with the world for a special discounted price.
We love and appreciate the close relationship we continue to have and grow with the pearl farmers. Through the highs and lows, they have been a constant in our lives. The reality of the situation is that we would not be Pearl Paradise without their thoughtfully sustainable farms.
Now... time for Hisano to get to work grading!
Hisano has always taken her time evaluating every single pearl that comes into our vault, but, just as mother nature did, Hisano spent a little extra time evaluating and grading each pearl. Her dedication to her craft bleeds through every overtone she describes, and every grade she gives these pearls. Anyone who gets their hands on one of these pieces will feel her passion and presence with every wear.
As a team, we are thrilled to be able to share with the world these Tahitian pearls. We know this was a long time in the making, and we appreciate all of the love, support, and understanding we have received during these unprecedented times. We can't help but feel so lucky to be able to continue to support our pearl farm friends, and we would not be able to do that without you.
